Gran Turismo is the land where people can go wild on their car design and at least having a virtual chance in seeing it roll on the tarmac. Nissan’s radically-styled Concept 2020 Vision is like how the Sesto Elemento is to the Gallardo, and it is one of the wild cars that one could commandeer in Gran Turismo. However, Nissan seems so pleased with the Concept 2020 Vision that they are asking their advanced engineering team to actually mould a model and create an actual sized model of it.
And once again, the venue chosen to reveal this real life model is at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. From what we understand, the one making an appearance later on is just a static model and will be created from scratch using the latest digital design tools.
The Concept 2020 Vision is described as an all-wheel drive, 2+2 sports car with race technology. The unique body shape is designed with air flow management as the main concern, where the designers are working closely with aerodynamic specialists to ensure that although in digital world, the car will perform as realistically as possible.
The Nissan Concept 2020 Vision is available for download in Gran Turismo 6 starting from next month with 10 different shades to choose from.
