Maybe it was unnoticed at Geneva because of its colours, but the new KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition is nothing short of being sinister and will definitely get a thumbs up from Bruce Wayne. This limited-run X-Bow might costs 99,000 Euros (RM 446,868) which is a bit hefty for a track toy, but KTM ensures that their new offering will definitely be worth every penny.
Starting with the punch this baby is carrying, the Black Edition is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 320-horsepower, 45 horses more than the standard setup. Surprisingly KTM did not mention the torque figure of the Black Edition, but it will most likely be in the 310 lb-ft range or even more.
Staying true to its ‘Black Edition’ name, this new KTM has been given a menacing monochromatic finish from head to toe as black is the colour of the day for this car. Riding on a set of black 18-inch (front)/19-inch (rear) BBS wheels, the black anodized sport exhaust perfectly fits in the Black Edition’s dark theme.
On the inside, the seats are hand-stitched and given a colour-coordinated stitching with ‘Black Edition’ logos on the headrests. The steering wheel is wrapped in suede leather and the brake and gear levers are aluminium. The multimedia system has also been revised and it now comes with a rearview camera.
