The new Jaguar F-Type is one of those cars that we would classify as ‘utterly vulgar’. With a handsome look and throaty soundtrack, the R just tops it off with an angry V8 that pushes out 550-horsepower. But apparently the R is not going to be the most powerful F-Type for long as Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicles Operations already has something in store for us.

This new car was supposed to make its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, but unfortunately it is now for the world to see. Known as the F-Type SVR, this new Jaguar will feature a supercharged V8 engine underneath the hood with an output of 575-horsepower and 700Nm of torque. Fitted with all-wheel drive, zerotohundred takes only 3.7 seconds and will have a top speed of 320 km/h.

The SVO had also fitted the SVR with aero upgrades, with the most notable being a rear carbon spoiler and the front side intakes. The car now comes with wider tires and forged aluminium wheels that shave off 10kg of weight. As an optional extra, the SVR can also be fitted with ceramic brakes that save another 12kg. The rear suspension has also been redesigned to be 0.6kg lighter and 41-percent stiffer.

As for the interior, Jaguar has fitted the SVR with Quilted Performance seats, special door sills, a steering wheel with SVR badge and anodized aluminium shift pedals.
