The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T hails a whole new Ferrari GT concept, targeted at owners seeking for a car that is sporty, versatile and ideal for daily-driving. Datuk Wira Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman of Naza Group of Companies said, “It is the first time Malaysia has been given the honour of participating in a simultaneous global debut of a Ferrari. Engine

Powered by a 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 that was nominated as the 2016 International Engine of the Year, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T replaces the outgoing GTC4Lusso that employs the 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12, and is the successor to the FF.

The engine has a maximum power output of 602hp and maximum torque of 760Nm, capable of launching the car to 100km/h from stationary in just 3.5 seconds. The V8 turbo was designed to deliver sporty drive, everyday.

The versatility of its engine performance has been enhanced at low speeds by benefiting Variable Boost Management and underscored by throttle response with zero turbo lag. The VBM will provide consistent acceleration in 3rd to 7th gear, which will result in a vivid but progressive acceleration.

Chassis

The Prancing Horse’s new 4-seater GT marries elegance in design, superb comfort and sportiness, all delivered by its rear-wheel-only drive, four-wheel steering, with a lighter kerb weight and more weight biased to the rear (46:54).

In addition, the 4WS (four-wheel steering) system is integrated with Side Slip Control (SSC3) to allow the car to get ‘loose’ in a controlled manner, adding a sporty element into its driving experience.

Exterior

Styling wise, the new GTC4Lusso T retains the same take on the ‘shooting brake’ coupe, reinterpreted with a streamlined shape that gives it a fastback silhouette. The car features slim headlights, similar to that on the F12 Berlinetta while featuring a wide gaping front grille.

At the rear, the GTC4Lusso T gets a pair of twin tail lights, a reminiscent to Ferrari models back in the 80s and 90s. The tail lights however are now in ring-like shape, neatly tucked inside vent-like clusters, showcasing a dynamic proportion. At its rear bumper, there’s a diffuser in between its quad-exhausts.

Interior

As expected in a four-seater grand tourer, the cabin is a melding of luxurious elegance and bold Ferrari styling cues. It comes with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, 10.25-inch HD capacitive touchscreen and unique Dual Cockpit architecture, designed to incorporate the shared driving experience for both driver and front passenger.

Ferrari’s first 4-seater turbocharged V8 is introduced into Malaysian with a starting price of RM1,088,000 (excluding duty and custom options).
