Bentley had recently taken the covers off their updated GT Speed alongside the new Black Edition version. Since there is no such thing as too much power nowadays, the engineers over at Bentley had managed to squeeze an extra 7PS to bring the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 unit’s output from 635PS to 642PS.
The GT Speed also gained 20 more Nm of torque (14 lb-ft), raising the torque to a total of 840Nm (619 lb-ft). This power gain has led the GT Speed to clock a zerotohundred in just 4.1 seconds.
Bentley is also introducing the Continental GT Speed Black Edition to celebrate the “rich and striking depth” of the GT’s sporty character. The new Black Edition comes in both coupe and convertible and features a high gloss black finish on the exterior brightware, including the window openings and lamp bezels.
Also included on the Black Edition is a set of all-black 21-inch five-spoke directional wheels that covers the brake calipers, which could also be finished in red upon request. Bentley is also offering contrast colours finishes on the Black Edition for parts like the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. One could pick them to be finished in either Hallmark, Beluga, St. James’ Red, or Cyber Yellow.

The Black Edition has a subtle but purposeful look that is backed up by exceptional performance,” said Continental GT product line director, Paul Jones.
