The current Audi RS6 Avant from the factory itself is already an impressive machine, featuring 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine that produces 555-horsepower. With a zerotohundred time of 3.9 seconds, this could be the perfect car if one has to balance between having a family and not sacrificing the extra oomph behind the wheel.
And in celebration of their 120th anniversary, famed German tuner ABT decided that the RS6 could use a bit more power to make it one of the ultimate sleepers on the streets. This new tuning kit focuses on all areas of the RS6, and the one that we are interested in first would have to be the powerplant.
To give the RS6 the extra edge, ABT managed to cram in another 175-horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque to bring up the output of this wagon to a massive 730-horsepower and 679 lb-ft of torque! As a comparison, it is similar to what the Pagani Huayra rolls with at 730-horsepower, but with a higher torque rate of 811 lb-ft of torque for the Italian supercar.
And if one opts for the ABT POWER S package, the RS6 Avant is capable of hitting a top speed of 320 km/h, making it faster than the RS6 Avant Performance which can ‘only’ do 305 km/h. ABT also included numerous carbon fiber body parts all around like the air inlet panels, front flics, side and rear skirts, fender inserts, rear spoiler and side mirror caps. The RS6 now rides on 22-inch alloys wrapped with Dunlop high performance tires.
