Mitsubishi has long announced that they will be launching a final model to bid goodbye to the trusty Evolution, but they had yet to unveil how the car will look like; until now. Alongside the official pictures, Mitsubishi has also been kind enough to include the specs of the Lancer Evolution X Final Edition as well.
The Final Edition had some of us pumped up as it was rumoured to be packed with much more power than the bog standard production model. As much as we were hoping so, it is a bit of a disappointment as the Final Edition only comes with 291-horsepower; similar to what you will get in a standard Evo X.
However, Mitsubishi has been kind enough to equip the car with Bilstein shock absorbers, Brembo brakes, Eibach springs and BBS lightweight alloys as well. Over to the inside, the Evo X Final Edition gets black leather Recaro sports seats with red stitching and “Final Edition” badges in the cabin.
Since this is a final tribute, Mitsubishi is only going to produce 1,000 examples of the Final Edition, and all of them will only be available in Japan.
