The “Super Veloce” name or SV in short is bestowed by Lamborghini to some of their extreme road cars showing what they could really do in wilding up their Bulls. After a couple of years roaming the streets and enjoying quite an attention worldwide, Lamborghini had finally released the SV variant of their big bull – the Aventador LP750-4 SV.

“Veloce” or translated directly into English as “fast” is exactly what this Bull is. The naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 tower of power is already impressive with 700-horsepower in hand, but the SV gets an additional 50, as well as 690 lb-ft of torque. Part of the power increase is thanks to the free-flowing exhaust and refined valve timing.

The power is then sent to all four wheels via Lamborghini’s Haldex-based permanent all-wheel drive system which features an electronic locking differential at the rear and an E-LSD for the front.

Power is not the only focus of the Aventador SV as lightening up the Bull is also a concern. Through the use of lots of carbon fiber and stripping off the unnecessary parts, Lamborghini managed to shave off about 50kg from the Aventador. The SV now rolls with a power-to-weight ratio of 2kg per horsepower, allowing it to do a zerotohundred in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 350km/h.

Over to the inside, the Aventador SV carbon monocoque chassis is now more visible since most of the upholstery is no longer present. The instrument cluster is also fitted with a G-force indicator and the infotainment system is no longer present, as well as the carpets and noise insulation.
