Is your dream car the Shelby Cobra 427? If it is, you grab hold this magnificent piece of machinery as Shelby is producing a run of limited edition Cobra 427s in celebration of the iconic car’s 50th Anniversary. And since it is the car’s 50th Anniversary, it is not a surprise that they are only making 50 of such examples to make it exclusive.
All 50 of them will come with gold 50th Anniversary badges and logos, and of course a range of unique features all over. All specimens will have either aluminium or fiberglass bodies, offered in either Polished Aluminium or Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripe exterior (fiberglass comes only with the latter option).
Like the previous 50th Anniversary examples, this batch of cars will bear the special CSX serial number prefix, where they will be numbered from CSX4550-CSX4599. The cars will be featuring elements as close to the original, with some modern interpretations thrown in such as high-end leather, upgraded modern brake components, stiffer frame, and dual A-arm suspension.
The fiberglass model will come with a price tag of USD 119,995 (RM 424,578) while the aluminium version starts at USD 179,995 (RM 636,876). Keep in mind though, you will still need to put your own engine and transmission after that.
