We have seen the McLaren P1 at the launching of their new showroom in Malaysia, and Porsche also showcased their new 918 Spyder at the opening of their Sungai Besi showroom. With two down, we are anxiously waiting for the Ferrari LaFerrari to complete the appearance of the Holy Trinity of supercars to appear in Malaysia.
As we are inching away from 2015, the wait might not be that long as the mighty V12 hybrid supercar was spotted at the KLIA Cargo area waiting to be delivered to its destination. This particular example was finished in Rosso Fuoco and has some unique touches like the black roof and rims, and it is rumoured to be heading to Naza Italia soon.
However, this is not the first LaFerrari to have landed on our shores as there are pictures of a rare purple unit making an appearance down south. But getting the chance of seeing that particular unit in flesh might be harder than this one, but we will still keep our fingers crossed.
The Ferrari LaFerrari or sometimes referred to as the F150, is Ferrari’s take of a hybrid supercar. The car was officially unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and only 499 units will be built. Featuring a 6.3-liter V12 engine, the LaFerrari gets 789BHP at 9,000rpm and 5166 lb-ft of torque. The petrol engine is then assisted by a KERS unit that provides 161BHP, totalling to a combined output of 950BHP and 664 lb-ft of torque.
