While we wait for the next-generation GT-R to make an appearance (which is purportedly to be a hybrid), Nissan had just released some new information regarding their new 2016 GT-R. This updated twin-turbocharged monster will be hosting an array of updates and will come with a price tag of USD 101,770 (RM 375,986).

The GT-R has been refined a couple of times since its birth and there is little space left for Nissan to add some more wow factor into it. The Black Edition now gets an extra 5-horsepower for a total output of 550-horsepower and while the Premium also gets the same power increase, it is fitted with a new set of 20-spoke RAYS wheels finished in near black colour.

However, customers now have the option to order the 45th Anniversary Gold Edition which comes with a Silica Brass exterior, a golden VIN plate and a commemorative plaque on the dashboard. Based on the Premium model, the 45th Anniversary will be produced in a limited number and will come with a price tag of USD 102,770 (RM 379,663).

But if it is power and total precision one is looking for, there is always the GT-R Nismo that one can look after. A serious version of the already serious car, the GT-R Nismo is fitted with proper aero upgrades and a tuned 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes out 600bhp and 651Nm of torque.
