Yes, we know that Audi never took the RS6 into the DTM scene, but some might have wondered that how it will look like if they ever made one. The same thought might have bothered Jon Olsson and instead of waiting such thing to happen, he decided to just make one of his own.

He owned the RS6 for quite a while and it served him as a support vehicle in last year’s Gumball 3000. Even back then the wagon was already pushing 700-horsepower, hunkered down and fitted with a Milltek straight pipe exhaust system. But obviously he wanted more out of his RS6 and after initiating the “RS6 DTM” Project months ago, it is finally here for the world to see.

“I have always loved the crazy widebody style of DTM cars and it’s been a dream to build a similar car for the road, but I also need a car that has enough space to carry all my ski gear to the slopes, so the decision was made to see what we could do with an Audi RS6,” said Olsson.

The first thing that caught our eyes is none other than that wide bodykit which is made out of carbon fiber. Interestingly enough, the kit was designed by Koenigsegg Chief Engineer Leif Tufvesson. Stertman Motorsport was responsible in giving the car the extra push by fitting in parts from STM, Intrax, Movit and Milltek Sport.

So the car now has a STM Stage 3+ kit which includes a custom 18 karat gold anodized TTE9XX turbochargers from The Turbo Engineers. Expected to push about 950-horsepower, they reckon 1,000-horsepower is not impossible with the use of race fuel!
