Another Top Gear news? Sure, why not. So we have established that the next main guy for BBC’s world-famous motoring show will be Chris Evans. An avid petrolhead himself, the question then moves on to whom will be the co-presenters? We once heard that Guy Martin and Jodie Kitt were among the names of the potential presenters, now there are two new names who most petrolheads might look forward to.
The names mentioned here are none other than automotive journalist Chris Harris and ‘Ring Queen Sabine Schmitz. These two might not need further introduction as Harris has gained worldwide fame through DRIVE and Chris Harris on Cars Youtube series, while Sabine has made a number of appearances on Top Gear, most notably on her attempt of driving a Ford Transit van around the Nordschleife under ten minutes.
Apparently those two names aren’t the only ones being brought up in the attempt to revive Top Gear as there is also chatter of former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard to be another co-presenter in the show.
Evans once revealed that the new Top Gear will hit the air on Sunday, May 8th 2016. There will be 16 episodes on the upcoming season and although there will be no more Clarkson, Hammond and May in the show, we are curious in finding out how the new Top Gear will look like after this.
