In the last few hours before the doors at Geneva Motor Show opens; many manufacturers are busy preparing for what is probably the most important car show every year. Less under pressure are the tuners, where they get to lay back and let their mind go wild to show to the world. True enough – famous VAG tuner, MTM just released some teaser details on their latest creation.. and its based on a Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck!

Taking inspiration from the Australians with their VXR V8 Utes – MTM has ripped out the 2.0TDI engine in the Amarok and dumped a massive 4.2-litre V8 turbo diesel engine into this little pickup truck. Yes ladies and gentlemen, this little harmless truck is now transformed into a 404bhp and 930nm monster that has the abilities to pull down a mid-sized bungalow.

Zerotohundred is dealt with in just 6 seconds flat, giving the Golf GTI a run for its money and keep accelerating to a limited top speed of 222km/h. If that isn’t enough for you, then riddle this.. it has more torques than a Porsche Cayenne Diesel S and will be able to carry your lumber equipments with total ease.

To cope with such massive power – the MTM has replaced the Amarok’s stock leaf springs suspension setup with Panhard rod that is combined with air springs to ensure some level of safety. At the same time, the hooniganism will be coped with performance brake kits on all four corners to give some assurance to the driver.

Tough to consider who will this kind of tuned up vehicle appeal to, as we are pretty sure the blue collar Amarok MTM will be tagged with a white collar price tag. Nevertheless, its an amazing innovation, putting aside all the green cars appearing at Geneva this year and completely ignoring euro emissions law.

More information will be given out in due time at the Geneva Motor Show, but we are just blown away by this creation. Lets hope to see more of these Amaroks on the roads in the near future shall we?
