Koenigsegg may not be producing their cars in large scale, but every single unit that comes out from the Swedish supercar maker never fails to turn heads. After teasing us with some tantalizing numbers of their upcoming Bugatti-beater One:1, they had now released the first image of how this new Swedish monster will look like.

The new One:1 will still bear Koenigsegg’s  trademark design cues like the Agera-like LED taillights, massive central exhaust and the rear diffuser. However, we could see that Koenigsegg has prepared themselves to put this car into great speeds as it now has a large rear spoiler supported by two ‘fins’ connecting from the roof.

Like the name suggests, the One:1 will bear the same power-to-weight ratio of the car. Housing 1,340-horsepower from the yet-to-be-revealed powerplant, the whole car only weighs 1,340kg. if these figures are pure fact and not fiction, the One:1 will be the world’s most powerful production car, taking the throne from the 1,300bhp SSC Ultimate Aero.

Koenigsegg is also gunning to beat the Bugatti Veyron in claiming the title of the world’s fastest production car. Currently the record is being held by the 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Veyron Super Sport at 431km/h.
