Having finished second overall in the 2013 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series, Team FXPrimus Aylezo is back to face the thrills and spills of the “fastest one-make series in the world” as they reveal their new driver line up and the race car’s new looks for the 2014 season. Representing Malaysia once again in the arena, the gap left by Dilantha Malagamuwa is now filled by former Petronas Syntium Team driver, Dominic Ang.

“I’ve known Zen since ten years ago from the Lotus community, and we always go for track days and autocross”, said Dominic.

With Dominic no longer driving for the Petronas Syntium Team as the team had closed down, Zen welcomed him on board the Team FXPrimus Aylezo family as the second driver to compete in the upcoming 2014 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series.

Team FXPrimus Aylezo might not had the best start in the 2013 season where a couple of accidents had forced them to settle with some DNFs, but it is going to take more than that to break their strong will to compete against other racers from Asia.

“Through the mid-season, we managed to pick up the pace and with the car running better, we started winning races. It was a good race in the end of the day, and our greatest achievement was that we finished second overall with about 70-percent podium finishes”, said Zen Low.

With the experience gained during the 2013 season, they are now more prepared than before as they now know how the game is being played and the necessary strategies needed to be implemented for a win.

“Also without our sponsors, there will not be any racing for Team FXPrimus Aylezo. So I would like to thank our title sponsor FXPrimus, PRIME Mantle Corp., Ecotint, and FUCHS Oil for giving us a lot of technical and financial support. We would also like to thank Splices TV, Sun Tiga, JH Italia, Lamborghini Malaysia, KaihoTech and Pholio for their support”.

“And for our new sponsor this year, we have teamed up with Capital TV which is going to cover us for the entire series. Basically we are going to have a TV series this year to share with our fans and people who wanted to know more behind the scenes”, he added.

The venues for the 2014 season will be slightly different from last year’s, where the first race will kick start at Sepang, Malaysia, followed by the Sentul Circuit in Indonesia. The race will then move to Korea, Japan, and Shanghai, before returning to Malaysia for the final round.
