The Ferrari 458 Speciale is already a machine not to be underestimated. Packing close to 600-horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, it is an Italia injected with a heavy dose of steroids. But to German tuner Novitec Rosso, this Speciale horse could do with a little more oomph to gallop around.

For starters, they gave the Speciale a special carbon fiber body kit which consists of a new front fascia and front lip spoiler, rocker panels, a rear wing and a rear diffuser. More carbon fiber parts are also available for the rear side windows, hood vents and the engine cover. Novitec claims that the additions of the carbon fiber parts are not just for show as they are functional, working to minimize lift on the front axle, giving it stability at high speeds.

Knowing Novitec Rosso, they would not be leaving the engine untouched. The 4.5-liter V8 engine is given a performance upgrade to bump up the power to 636-horsepower and the torque figure to 421 lb-ft. These figures are possible through the remapped ECU and not to forget their signature exhaust system that gives a louder bark, and being lighter as well.

And to finish it off, the Novitec 458 Speciale rolls on a set of Novitec Rosso ‘NF4’ 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tire measuring 255/30 in the front and 325/25 in the rear. Novitec had also developed a special suspension with and integrated lift system which allows the car to be raised by 40mm.
