The Nissan GT-R has been with us since 2007, and there has not been one year that we are not impressed with the continuous development done to this mighty Japanese monster. Working hard in refining their twin-turbocharged machine, Nissan has just announced the 2015 version of the GT-R where the Godzilla once again receives a myriad of updates.
With Japan getting the best of the GT-R first, the 2015 JDM GT-R comes with modified dampers and ECU providing better cornering stability and steering feel. The power management system has also been looked into, as well as the flywheel housing bearings to kill off the noise and allowing a smoother operation.
A new shim structure and pad on the Brembo brakes have also been developed by the skilled Nissan engineers to make it less noisy, and the steering damper has been optimized to enable lower vibrations while the engine is idling. Their focus on eliminating the noise had also gone to the trunk carpet where some changes have been made to improve sound deadening.
Rolling on modified run-flat Dunlop tires with revised material and inner structure to improve the ride quality and stability on straight lines and tougher roads, Nissan will also be throwing in a set of split-spoke RAYS alloy wheels in Hyper Blue Black chrome finish which comes as an optional extra for the Premium.
