To further assist Malaysian car owners in servicing their vehicles, Carama by Castrol has just launched Malaysia’s first Car Service Price Calculator. Like the name suggests, this first-of-its-kind online tool give car owners the peace of mind when servicing their car by providing estimates for their car maintenance.
With an online survey done earlier by Carama and Paul Tan, the findings showed that the consumers feel a need for assurance over the quality of workmanship and transparency in pricing.
“The survey results collected from over 1,600 car owners in Malaysia indicates concern and uncertainty around quality of repair and maintenance costs for their vehicles”, said Sumeet Wadhwa, General Manager of Carama.
“Carama streamlines the workshop selection process and all Carama workshops provide car owners peace of mind through a three-month warranty on all services and repairs. By introducing our Service Price Calculators to consumers, they can now calculate estimates of their repair and not feel overcharged”, he added.
At this stage, the Service Price Calculator covers a selection of cars that are widely used in Malaysia which includes Proton, Perodua, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Ford, and Naza. Launched in August 2013, Carama covers a network of more than 130 workshops in the Klang Valley and features a Workshop Locator, My Car Logbook, Carama Rewards, and the new Service Price Calculator.
