While both the cars looks pretty much the same, the coupe and sedan variant now get their own designation with the M3 being used for the sedan and the M4 for the coupe. However, both cars pack the same 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine pushing out 431-horsepower and 550Nm of torque.

Mated to a seven-speed M dual clutch transmission with Drivelogic that sends all the power to the rear wheels, zerotohundred takes only 4.1 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250km/h (280km/h with the optional M Drivers Pack). Aside from the Launch Control, it also gains a Smokey Burnout Function, where some had labelled this as the automatic drift function. Basically this system allows the rear wheels to spin while the car is travelling at low speeds

The BMW M3 Sedan (on the road, without insurance, with BMW service + repair inclusive) is priced at RM 738,800 while the BMW M4 Coupe comes with a price tag of RM 748,800.
