British brands like Aston Martin and Jaguar are commonly associated to a luxurious lifestyle and being high-performance GT cars. But like how Mercedes turned their C-class into a wild and ferocious Black Series, both Aston and Jaguar had also come up with their own. The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and the Jaguar XKR-S GT are no pushovers, which is why Motor Trend puts both of them into a duel.
Both cars have at least 550-horsepower, carbon ceramic brakes, sticky Pirelli tires and adjustable suspension. Made for speed and performance, these two cats are the best that one could get from their shelves.
But Motor Trend does not only put the V12 Vantage S and the XKR-S GT to the test on the track, as they also put the cars to the twisty mountain roads. The scenic and serene roads seem fitting for both the V8 and V12 to howl on the twisty roads, which made it harder for us to pick which is the best.
