With their recent encouraging win at Fuji Speedway, team FXPrimus Aylezo is ready to revisit their dark past and conquer one of their worst fears; Shanghai International Circuit. With now having garnered more experience on the car and the strategy needed to take the checkered flag, the team showed no hesitance when arriving at the circuit and is looking forward for the race day.
Having already known their way around the circuit, posting a fast lap is no impossible feat for them. But since everyone else also had the same share (some more) of experience on Shanghai International Circuit, they would have to pull some extra effort to come above from all the rest.
After discussing the strategy of how to cut the corners with total precision, the team attacks the circuit in the Official Practice session. The 50-minute session should give them ample time to try out different strategies and driving styles in order to clock the fastest lap time, which will prove very useful for the next day’s qualifying sessions.
Although this is just the Official Practice session, everyone is giving their absolute best to fully prepare themselves when the millisecond matters. And how did team FXPrimus Aylezo performed? After only a few laps, they managed to clock an astonishing 1:51.922, which at the end of the session puts them in third place from the crowd of 16 cars!
As much as this being an encouraging results, they would still have to keep themselves composed as the real thing starts on the following day. While the mechanics spent their time prepping up the car…
…the drivers studied the on-board footage to pinpoint which to do and which not to do for the Qualifying sessions. They also had a good look into the telemetry as the power delivery also plays a huge role for a quick lap.
