There might be a lot of great looking cars on the roads today, but the one that will always be catching our attention is Maserati’s elegant GranTurismo. But somehow Maserati got into a re-think as recently, although the MC Stradale was designed to be a more powerful and lighter version of the GranTurismo, they somehow thought that the move is a bit selfish, and the joy of riding the Trident Grand Tourer should be shared with others.
And with that in mind, Maserati is ready to premiere a new sub-version of the MC Stradale by bringing back the rear seats, restoring it back to the four-seat configuration. This updated version of the MC Stradale is set to make an appearance on next week’s Geneva Motor Show.
This new four-seater MC Stradale will come with a 460-horsepower V8 engine, an increase of 10 horses compared to the previous version. And continue to draw inspiration from the racing version competing in the Maserati MC Trofeo racing series, the new MC Stradale will be having a new carbon fiber vented hood, 20-inch forged alloy wheels, and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.
It will still house the Maserati MC Race Shift six-speed automated manual box, giving it a top speed of 302km/h. The GranTurismo MC Stradale will take the stage alongside with the all-new 2014 Quattroporte.
