Lamborghini really knows how to make insanely-looking cars, and at the same time wring out a huge amount of ka-ching from every 9-year-old that lives in a millionaire. The Veneno came out to be one of Lamborghini’s most outlandish cars ever made by them, but apparently they would not stop by only producing three of such specimens as they had just announced a new variant with the top off.
And unlike the ultra-limited Veneno coupe, the Roadster will be made available to nine lucky customers who could afford its outrageous pre-tax price of USD 4.5 million (RM 14.18 million!). And for that price tag, you would own a car that offers no protection from the rain or shine, and no interruption to hear the tingling howl of the V12 engine.
The Veneno is basically an Aventador-based supercar, with the body being made entirely from carbon-fiber reinforced polymer and carbon ceramin brakes. The carbon parts continue to dominate the interior, from the central to the lightweight bucket seats. Lamborghini said that the “Rosso Veneno” shade seen here is exclusively for the Veneno Roadster, but the customer is able to customize his own to fit their personal preference.
Weighing at 1,490 kgs, the mid-mounted V12 engine produces 750-horsepower and is able to sprint from 0-100 in just 2.9 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 355 km/h.
