The Aston Martin CC100 Speedster concept was a great gift in celebrating the marquee’s recent Centenary celebration as it was a totally head-turner. Incorporating their elegant design with a dose of sportiness, this machine was piloted by British racing legend Sir Stirling Moss at the event. But he will not be the only one driving the CC100 as Aston had actually built two of such specimen.
Costing roughly around 500,000 British Pound (RM 2.48 million) each, the two CC100 has actually already been sold. The first one to be sold was said to be the original concept that took part in several Aston Martin’s centenary celebration in London, and the owner is planning to keep the car in his collection.
But it is the second owner that caught our attention as compared to the first owner, he actually plans to get a regulatory approval from the authorities so that it could actually be used on public roads. Unfortunately Aston has no plans in building any more of the CC100 to preserve the exclusivity.
Designed and constructed in fewer than six months at Aston Martin’s global headquarters over in Gaydon, England, the CC100 is based around the chassis of the V12 Vantage, but comes with a unique carbon fiber body. Pairing the 6.0-liter V12 engine to a sequential manual transmission with paddle shifters, zerotohundred can be dealt in 4.0 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 290 km/h.
