Watch the New Porsche 911 Carrera S Tackle the Nordschleife!

Porsche’s been hard at work to bring you he best it has to offer and in order to do so they need to be out testing on tracks around the world no? No, they just need to get their laps in at the Nürburgring, where the rest of world tests their machines as well, with Timo Kluck at the helm of Porsche’s new 911 Carrera S.

The new Carrera S was able to post better times around the ‘Ring’ than the 997 911 Turbo and even shave off an additional 2 seconds from it’s timed lap from last year.

Though the run was done on 28th August 2012, the clip’s just emerged to showcase just how the Carrera S dispatches it’s 400bhp from its 3.8L flat-six that’ll hit 100kmh in just 4.1s (3.9s with optional Sport Chrono with launch control) and onwards to a maximum velocity of just over 300kmh.

Just to put things into perspective, the Carrera S in mention is now just a tickle faster than the likes of the Lexus LFA, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Nissan GTR and the Ferrari 458 Italia which all posted a time somewhere in the vicinity of 7mins 38s.

Now scroll down and hit the play button to watch Kluck man handle the Carrera S around the infamous Nordschleife!
