The Lexus LS range might be a full-size luxury sedan that one would not see of it in being either sporty or menacing. But Toyota’s motorsport division TMG is set to give this luxury cruiser some fangs that will bite off the head of the unsuspecting victims by throwing in a couple of serious modifications that simply shows it means business.
Dubbed as the TS-650, this Lexus LS prototype is said to be a race-tuned version of the LS-F with a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 lying under the hood which produces about 650-horsepower at 9,000rpm. Sounds impressive, but this prototype is still under covers and Toyota had only released a couple of teaser pictures on their facebook page.
The pictures revealed this prototype LS receiving a lot of carbon fiber parts such as the side skirts, hood and wing, and not to forget a new set of wheels. And it would not be long until they reveal the car to the public as TMG is said to have scheduled its debut at the upcoming 2012 Essen Motor Show in Germany this November 30th until December 9th. Until then, this is the only information that we have on the TS-650, but we will get back to this prototype machine once the full specs are officially released.
