SSC Ultimate Aero to Cease Production with XT Limited Edition!

American supercar manufacturer, SSC North America is offering to enthusiasts world-wide, an extremely limited run of the Guinness World Record breaking Ultimate Aero and will be classified as the Ultimate Aero XT (2013) – The XT designation indicates “Extreme”.

As founder, lead-designer and CEO of SSC, Jerod Shelby mentions that SSC has added some key components into the XT that comes from their upcoming Tuatara project; those components will be helping to benefit the new owners of all five “Limited Edition” XTs.

Each of the 5 Ultimate Aero XT will be getting the Tutatara’s power plant that possesses the ability to get you to the moon and back – probably, but with 1,300bhp on tap, it sounds likely to us.

But that’s not all that’s coming from the Tuatara and heading into the XT, there’s more – a 7-speed Tuatara gearbox with paddle shifters, cooling, fuel and braking systems will all be joining forces within the XT.

But to make it even more individualistic is that once the customer chooses their aggressive paint-scheme, the colour will then be removed, never to grace another Ultimate Aero or Tuatara.

And once all five of the XT variants have been sold, SSC has indicated that production of their Ultimate Aero will then cease – permanently.
