Toyota’s popular RAV4 CUV (Compact Utility Vehicle), thanks to its arguably affordable price tag, has been in the books for a rework and may have been slated for an official reveal at the up-coming LA Auto show. But somehow, a batch of photos have leaked onto the interweb!
The new images now provide a more confirmed idea of what the CUV will look like, both inside and out and while technical details aren’t exactly confirmed, there’s mention that the new RAV4 will have a 2.5L 4-banger under the hood, providing 178bhp and as well as larger 3.5L V6 that’s good for 268bhp.
While both engines may be coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission, an AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) drive train could be made available – probably with the larger displacement 3.6L V6 engine over the usual front-wheel-drive.
