The recently concluded Honda HIN KL 2011 attracted a sizable crowd despite it’s inaugural debut in Malaysia last weekend. Hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, the organizers of the event managed to raise the car show benchmark that little bit higher with the first-ever introduction of a semi-indoor dyno that seemed to have eluded previous major car events. Other firsts include HIN signature “club night” ambiance for that special underground feel, as well as a panel of international judges for quality verification of show-car quality.

The smaller than life Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam barely manages to pack all that widebody show cars, show booth, and show girls. In a way there’s no sense of wasted space to ensure uninterrupted attention span.

Honda, Title sponsor of the Hot Import Nights KL put up a show of modified Hondas including their MME race-winning FD2R, a spiced up Honda City by Rexx Styling and a public debut of the new Honda CR-Z.
