Tommy Kaira Bodykit For The Toyota Prius Is Now Ready

A few months ago we showed you Tommy Kaira’s renderings on their latest body-kit for the Toyota Prius and now it’s ready. What you see here is the Japanese tuning firms take on what the iconic hybrid car could look like if owners choose to walk down the tuning road. Sure hybrid vehicles may not be the sportiest vehicles but they could look really good with the right body kit. And since hybrid vehicles are slowly taking over the world, it comes as no surprise then that tuning firms are jumping onto the hybrid bandwagon.

Among the first to jump on that bandwagon is Tommy Kaira and their latest offering for the Toyota Prius includes the new body-kit shown above, suspension upgrades, and of course, wheel options. Whether or not the body-kit is to your liking is subjective, but no matter, in a few months time Tommy Kaira won’t be the only tuning firm with a body kit for hybrid cars. We’re not too sure if any tuner will come up with a performance tuning kit, but because hybrid vehicles are supposed to be environmentally friendly, we don’t expect hybrid vehicles to be tuned for performance. Instead, we are guessing there will be a raise of the “eco-tuner” where tuners to compete to build the most environmentally friendly vehicle.
