More shots of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT2 RS that has all of us excited. Visible in these photo’s is the new carbon fiber bonnet and side intakes as well as the stripped out Alcantara leather clad interior. Also slightly visible but yet unconfirmed is a roll-cage, I may be wrong but since the GT3RS comes with a roll cage, there’s almost no reason for the GT2RS not to feature one as well.
The 911 GT2 RS is to be released on May 14. The new RS is a stripped-down version of the already very powerful GT2, it will likely feature active suspension as well as a roll cage to help control the 620hp that reports suggest will power the new Porker. Weighing 90kg’s less than the 997.1 GT2, it’s rumoured that the car will demolish the 100km/h mark in 3.2 seconds. Exclusivity is also guaranteed as the car will only be limited to 300 units. 3 more days and counting.
