Rhys Millen – top US drifter, once a rally driver, still a stunt driver for various shows and movies like The Dukes of Hazard, Mr & Mrs Smith and even The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. This automotive mad man once broke five vertebrae attempting the very same black flip you see here during his first try. Now, like all automotive mad man, he is back to give the stunt another go.
It’s not easy to back flip a truck, in fact any vehicle for that matter and even if it was easy, it takes a lot of guts and b*lls to execute it but doing it again after a very painful first attempt, now that’s just something else. Everything goes well for Rhys till the time came time to land the back flip. Check out the video below to see what I mean. The one thing I find peculiar though, the presence of sponsor logos at the bottom of the truck. Makes it seem as if the entire thing was set up – or that they stuck it there “just in case”, which is just plain mean.
