Two Hardcore Rally Drivers and a Hardcore 1978 Ford Escort

A video of Ken Block and fellow rally driver Chris Atkinson having some fun in Ken’s very own 1978 Ford Escort. It’s not your normal Ford Escort as under the hood lies a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Millington engine that boasts 280bhp. It has also been setup with WRC-styled paddle shift as well as a six-speed sequential gearbox. If you’re intro rallying and love fun, then this is the pinnacle of letting loose.

this guy, ken really can drive it right? so why no irc/ wrc competitors to lure him to the big stage? i know hes doing it for fun, but u never know.

he may like it - driving competitively.

drMpower, Ken Block IS driving competitively in Rally America. In 2005 he was rookie of the year and in '06, he was sponsored by Subaru along with Travis Pastrana to form Subaru Rally Team USA.

So yea... he IS a rally driver racing competitively. Just that in news unfortunately, there's USA and then there's the rest of the world

Whats funny is, there rarely are or none rally drivers from USA. Which is kind of strange. Because USA always have glorified themselves having the most automotive sports in the world. Be it lawnmowers to airplanes.

maybe Ken Block want to stay at home and plays there, coz he's also running his owned company, DC Shoes alongside his motorsports enthusiasm...
