Members of my livina club and my latio club visit Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (Serendah Plant

convoyedSerendah (12th September 2008) Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) welcomed 40 Grand Livina & Latio owners to visit Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (Serendah Plant) on 23rd August. The 40 Nissan owners are members of the My Livina and My Latio owners’ clubs and they convoyed in a total 20 units of Grand Livina and 14 units of Latio from the Sungai Buloh Jejantas rest area at the North-South Expressway to TCMA’s Serendah Plant near Rawang.

The visit was arranged at the request of the administrators of both the My Livina Club and My Latio Club and the purpose of this visit was to provide the selected 20 members from each club with an opportunity to know more about how their Grand Livina and Latio plus the Sylphy which are assembled at this new plant.

This event also provided Nissan/ETCM with a very good opportunity to meet with Nissan owners and have an insight into their vehicle ownership experience. Mr. Christopher Tan, Nissan/ETCM’s General Manager – Product Planning, and a team comprising of TCMA management and Nissan/ETCM marketing personnel were on hand to greet and welcome the club members.

For me, it was a most satisfying and proud day as I have finally managed to arrange a visit for My Livina club members to Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (Serendah Plant). Thanks to the tremendous work from the club members and from Edaran Tan Chong Motor as well. Alvin Law, team leader of My Livina Club.

We feel grateful for this opportunity provided by ETCM to allow our My Latio club members to visit Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (Serendah Plant). We managed to gain knowledge on the quality control and the way our Latio are assembled. Besides, we also got to interact with ETCM’s team members during the visit and they are friendly and ever willing to serve us. Mr. Steven Kong, team leader of My Latio Club.
