Leaked: NISMO Prepped 370Z

nismo-nissan370z1Nissan might have been successful in keeping the all-new 2009 370Z under cover until the release of the first official photos earlier this week, but its in-house performance division NISMO (abbreviated from Nissan Motorsport) didn’t manage to do the same. According to CarScoop, this leaked photo of a NISMO accessorized 370Z (called Fairlady Z in Japan) looks like it’s the real deal. The sports coupe pictured here features a full bodykit that includes a rear wing, side sills, a rear diffuser housing a new set of tailpipes and larger alloy wheels. Understandably, we’re not aware of the mechanical upgrades that will be offered by NISMO but expect to see several goodies for the V6 engine, suspension, brakes and the interior. Too much similarities with the 350 ... Nothing much ..to me is front lights and rear lights ... Maybe they can call it a Face lift ...

No comment on whether its the real deal or not...

Better find your way to your friendly optician to those of you comparing a 2 door with a 4 door.

There are similarities with the 350Z but it is indeed a brand new car in hand.

If you flash the picture next to a Gen 2, you could see the sillouette which is almost similar and also the centre area near the door handles. No thanks to the rear wing and fat bulb look. Of course its not a Gen 2. Neither are the details.

If we did what you suggested the 370Z could look like a Gen2 one moment and a MAN truck the next and maybe even the batmobile the next time... which proves why the vertical door handles on the Z will look horzintal after a while of flashing :)

Aiyahhh... i said the area near the door handles. Not the door handles alone my dear. I also mentioned forgo the details. Its sillouette not the insides. Its sillouette! Neither Man truck nor every generation of Batmobile comes close to this fatness.

Many say it looks like 350Z. But in fact the back is more higher than a 350Z. And that only is highlighted by the wing.
