American supercar manufacturer, SSC North America is offering to enthusiasts world-wide, an extremely limited run of the Guinness World Record breaking Ultimate Aero and will be classified as the Ultimate Aero XT (2013) – The XT designation indicates “Extreme”.
As founder, lead-designer and CEO of SSC, Jerod Shelby mentions that SSC has added some key components into the XT that comes from their upcoming Tuatara project; those components will be helping to benefit the new owners of all five “Limited Edition” XTs.
Each of the 5 Ultimate Aero XT will be getting the Tutatara’s power plant that possesses the ability to get you to the moon and back – probably, but with 1,300bhp on tap, it sounds likely to us.
But that’s not all that’s coming from the Tuatara and heading into the XT, there’s more – a 7-speed Tuatara gearbox with paddle shifters, cooling, fuel and braking systems will all be joining forces within the XT. Read the rest of this entry »
