Think the $590,000 (RM 1.8million) price tag that Nissan puts on their built-to-order Juke-R is a bit too much? Well, a company in Russia certainly thinks so and they took the most innovative step to acquire one of this uniquely-looking SUV pumping the heart of a supercar-killer machine; they cued the music and built their own Juke-R.
Russia had supplied us with quite a number of incredible dash cam footages that somehow matches the movie scenes in Hollywood; from Final Destination’s death-bringing flying debris to the gun-wielding angry mob members. But as if there was not enough variety coming from the largest country in the world for our amusement, the surprise now comes from high above.
If given the choice, which would you prefer the most: a carefully-engineered piece of automotive marvel like the Bugatti Veyron, or the bad boy supercar like the Lamborghini Gallardo? Of course one of the advantages that will put the Veyron above the Bull is its insane 1001-horsepower W16 engine and the ability to smash through the 400km/h barrier, which no production-based car could achieve back in its time. But what if there is a way to make the Gallardo to go as fast as the Veyron could?
We admit it, we love action movies and we even dare say, action movies love us, but what happens when you’re faced with some real live action? Well lets just say we’re civil enough not to head for the nearest pop-corn stall and rush back to catch more of the hoo-ha. Much like in this case, a particular Land Rover Free Lander 2 gets caught on camera for attempting to do what Russians are rather famous for; gymnastics?
This is world domination of a different kind. Forget about nukes and mass-murder, this is about Russian Clarksons and Lada’s (and some). The official Top Gear website announced that a 15-episode tv series could debut as early as the end of this year though a suitable trio of comrades to host the newest addition to the brand’s arsenal of international shows has yet to be found.
