Revealed: Nissan GTR V-Spec

The GTR saga continues, the guys over at Road & Track magazine have got their hands on the specifications on the highly anticipated Nissan GTR V-Spec and they have spilled the beans. Figures stand at 520 hp @ 6500 rpm, 440 lb.-ft. of torque all the way from 3200–5200 rpm, 1640kg, and earlier reports have confirmed that it laps the ‘Ring quicker than 7:25, that’s faster than a Porsche 997 GT2. Spied: Porsche 998 911 Test Mule

Spy photographers from KGP Photography posted strategically around the Nurburgring have photographed what looks to be the next generation Porsche 911 undergoing development testing. It appears that the 998 mule uses 997 body work coupled with pumped wheel arches that hint at a widened track and what could be a makeshift wing that provide additional downforce during testing.
