Battles Galore as Championship Still Wide Open at the Halfway Mark

It is halfway through the season and all five championships in the Asian Festival Of Speed have been blown wide open coming into the Indonesian leg of the season. It is still anyone’s game at this point and the current Title leaders will not be able to sit easy in Sentul this weekend. Ebrahim Claims His Second Formula V6 Asia Win of the Season

Armaan Ebrahim claimed his second win of the season in another close race during the Formula V6 Asia Round 4 at Sepang International Circuit today. The weather changed midway through the race with a slight drizzle that came down to make the conditions hard to manage by the drivers, leaving streaks of slippery track surface around some parts of the circuit. The Formula V6 Asia Battle Continues at the Super GT in Sepang

This weekend marks the return of the Formula V6 Asia 2008 Season to the Sepang International Circuit after a month long break. The drivers are eager to continue with the battle that began in May to become the next Formula V6 Asia Champion. This time they will compete in front of the Super GT crowd on the 21-22 June 2008. Black Tara’s Armaan Ebrahim won the Formula V6 Asia Super Sprint race on Saturday at Sepang. In second place was Earl Bamber, driving for The Pizza Company Team QI-Meritus. Completing the podium was Earl’s teammate James Grunwell in third. Read more

Formula V6 Asia Series, set to change the face of the sport in the region will feature 12 rounds with the first four rounds to be run in Malaysia.
For the first time, Southeast Asian-based drivers will be able to progress from karting, through the ranks of junior single seaters, and step up to a programme specifically designed to groom them for the pinnacle of international motorsport - Formula One. Read more
