Formula E Cities Shortlisted, and Putrajaya’s One of Them?

With the Formula E All-Electric Racing Championship getting a green light from the FIA, the second question arises of where the races should be taking place. We have heard of Rio De Janiero being one of them, followed by Rome as the first European city to sign up in hosting the event in 2014. And on March 8, the organizers had released a preliminary calendar for the 2014 season, and it seems that Putrajaya is one of them.

Toyota and Audi to Battle It Out on this Year’s Le Mans 24 Hours!

While the debut of Toyota’s TS030 at last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans did not go well as expected, being plagued by mechanical difficulties and a major crash, they did prove that Audi now has a new and strong competitor to keep an eye on during endurance racing. Peugeot’s New 208 R5 Replacing the 207 S2000 in the IRC

F1 Legend “Professor” Sid Watkins Dies at 84

He was one of the prominent figures in establishing the secure environment that Formula One enjoys today, and had attended to the needs of great racing drivers like Mika Hakkinen and Ayrton Senna. But now the automotive world mourns the loss of a great character as the calmly-looking neurosurgeon Dr. Sid Watkins or informally known as “The Professor” down in the Formula One paddock had recently passed away at the age of 84 from a heart attack.
