YOu are right. It more toward to R1R type which same category(extreme sport tyre) the RSR tread wear is also 140 potensa re11. BUt i just wonder why a lot website selling this RSR tyre call them semi slick wo???
For semi slick tyre is all the tread wear is below 140 for sure(slick tyre normally you can choose different compound).
what i know R888's treadwear is 100 is more toward Toyo Ra1 Nitto NT01 Potenza RE55S and RE540S Dunlop dz03g kumho v70a
For street and some track use RSR really is value for money.
But you can see the how sticky the r888 was in this videolink (LEFT is 2G Compound Right is 3G Compound plus he say got another version is the wet version so call SG Compound)
