Please Post In Dedicated Categories.
|
|
Changes have been implemented.
Please posts your products for sale in dedicated categories.
This will ease products browsing and reduce the speed in your topics being drowned by new topics or replies to other topics which is beneficial.
Quick reply in all marketplace categories have been disabled to reduce useless and for-nothing replies. Do not practise the reply-for-fun habit. It's annoying and proves/shows how low your intelligence is.
New Topics posting to main For Sale channel has been disabled. Replies will still be allowed during the process of getting used to and recent topics being moved..
only some recent topics are move just to make the new categores more homely
if you can't find your topics, please find it in the dedicated categories.
Please obey the rules and please identify the categories in which you are posting.
Unbelonged topics will be moved without notice or link and in many cases deleted.
Thanks
Admin.

then he has to seperate his posts.
i don't think anyone could sell any better in a lump of mixed parts.
if you really insist, on the seperate psots put a link, linking to your other sale topics in your posts.
everyone
Changes will always take getting used to.

I agree with Tom..I think this way is better for ppl who really wants to buy/sell something in particular..you'll have to be a buyer/seller yourself to understand. Last time when I was looking for a set of rims how I wish there's a dedicated place rather than scrolling through each and every page...
However, I think different ppl has different opinion and we have to respect that..

I find it rather confusing.
You have the 6 cat. on top, and at the bottom there are still a couple of for sale topics.
I serious dont know where to start looking if i browse to the page.
Used to be a single click, but now I need to do extra 2 - 3 clicks to view For Sale item

i dont know about the rest.. this is just my own opinion.. I highly think that
the new dedicated categories are not beneficial to sellers & buyers as well.
Reason being that most of the parts here are car related & this is not
auc.buysell.com.my where a wide variety of things are available & it is better
for them to put into categories. Since most of the stuffs posted here are car
related & we're a whole bunch of car enthusiasts here on zth, I strongly feel
that everyone here has interests in each & every part of a car or car related
stuffs. Being on that note I'm sure a lot of us here wouldnt wanna miss out
on a single thing that is being posted in marketplace. Being a car enthusiast
I always pass on contacts on stuffs posted here by sellers to my other friends
outside of zth... i might not need certain stuffs here but I got a lot of friends
who're driving different cars & has different needs for all sorts of car related
stuffs hence each & every post here will get my interest & i do browse every
post.
But since it has been categorized now, I have to spend more time clicking
on them & more loading time & if I dont browse through all categories I would
miss out on some goodies. Now if u actually look at the posts here, I would
say a day u would get between 10 to 20 new posts? probably lesser? 20 posts
a day is not a whole lot to browse through if they're on a single page like last
time. The old way is so much more better, the sellers get more coverage from
visitors, the buyers wont miss out a thing & they just need to click into 'For sale
& advertisement' once & everything will load in front of them at one go... soo
clear, so easy, things are not missed & if u really need to look for specific things
like 'wheels' .. well the search button is there! If you really need to categorize
things here, I think 2 would be enough: car related & non car related.
But then again this forum belongs to Tom & I highly respect his decision &
dedication that he has put up to make this forum... Believe me, u all wont get
any better forum than ZTH... just look at autoworld, u wanna post stuffs for
sale there? U'd get your ass kick by Chips in no time... U wanna post stuffs
for sale in Protomania.com?? Ok u better fork out some money to Bazet...
Whatever it is... Thanks a million for all u had done for us Tom... I'm sure
u're constantly making better changes for all of us here... keep up the good
work... ;)
