it would be good to take your car for a check up and get the fault codes, it can only be diagnosed from there..

Probably got 2 reason, 1 is unplugged sensor especially at rear bottom HICAS steering always unplugged by itself.

2nd is....import car, being disconnected frm battery wth the condition of steering wheel not straight at Yard parking. So ths reset HICAS ecu unproperly.

I suggest u:

1st: check unplugged socket at HICAS steering.
2nd: Reset ECU
3rd: Diagnosis (Nissan comes wth manual ECU diagnosis)

Learn here:

reset ecu
http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/f...reset-ecu.html

ECU diagnosis
http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/f...explained.html

Easiest way, go nearest workshop wth Consult Diagnosis and read the error code.

NISSAN having a BEST friendly ECU for us!

kaminari thanks for the advice, i'm wondering if my dog has anything to do with unplugging the hicas, since you said it's probably unplugged. Damn, dog likes to play with its toys under the car.
