Default knocking why?

1)What CAS (cam angle sensor) function?
2)Why when the cas sensor is in normal condition (normal = middle)my
knocking hi (150) when accelerate (tarik pick up= floor throtle )above 3k
rpm.
3)When i turn the cas sensor to max (clock wise) the knocking is minimal
(max =8)acceptable for me... :D
4)If the cas sensor set to max ,is it will cause coil to dead...one of my coil
pack dead(melt)..and next coming another one likely to have symptom to be dead.

engine rb25det
m35i hks spark plug

It's to control your ignition timing. The default stock settings is to set it to 15 BTDC @ 650RPM. You can set it with a timing light or a consult interface. The positioning of the sensor differ from cars to cars. You should get it adjusted/tune to the original settings. Do not meddle with it as it can kill your engine pretty easily. hehe.

the cas is set by my tuner when i install pfc..i just curious..so i adjust it to normal and test...suprise me the knock is hi on the pfc com..so i adjust back to max..

very limited one...got the unit from n1..the 2nd last one..now finish...at japan auction 82000yen without shipment,commision,tax...very expensive now...but plan to take e11v2 after this...heheheh

ur car is not compatible with pfc as urs are converted manual ... e11v2 should be fine

sell the pfc to meeeeeee ... hehehehehe

r34 RB25 NEO VERY difficult to find now even in japan...u have pfc on ur r33 ek eleh? r u using neo engine pfc?
u interest with the pfc innocete?

Pls read the manual properly for the PFC, get it dyno tune with the proper A/F. It works on auto convert to manual, just that TCS will not work.

Nice to see, nice to touch but once to set them wrongly...kabooom!

Just my 2 cent of advice.

its already on the road tune..yes tcs not function..it just make me feel wierd why my cas was set to max by my tuner..i my self adjust it to see what happen if it at normal place....afraid wiil melt another coilpack...just to confirm will not melt splitfire after this..when i see the knock rise to 150 when floor it ..i just release the pedal..(jahax response was fast still cant catch him)...


1bar with knock = 8 - 12 max..
