RB26 gasket for rb25 engine

hi,

I'm tired waiting and searching for rb25 gasket combination set.. i also search yahoo japan auction site for rb25 gasket, but no one selling it.. i want to know if rb26 gasket can be fit to rb25 engine???

thats an option i've been waiting.. waiting for bank rakyat approval for my 50k personal loan.. hehe

That would be more than enough for an RB27 ... then again, I hope you won't blow that all on an engine ... hehehe ...

You never know, there could be a spare 26 waiting for you here ...

now trying to rebuilt the RB25 with 300zx pistons.. displacement shout be near 2.7..

btw, the 50k loan is not for engine only la.. it will also goes to new house d/p, mpv d/p, business etc...

1mm oversize I doubt it'll take you to 2.7 ... unless you do the crank and rods as well ....

well, i bought the pistons with it conrod.. but don't know wether it can fit rb25 crankshaft or not.. the most important thing is to see my green car running again.. already 6 month bungkus at home..

If not mistaken, the bore x stroke for Z32 is 87, 83, where the RB25 is something like 86, 71.7 ... Is there significant difference in the rod length compared to the 25 rods?

It it works, sure would be interesting to see how the power-band had shifted.

Actually, I thought there would be plenty of RB25 engine's floating around for ~2-3k a piece ...

there also rb25 among rm2-3k, but why need to buy the same rb25 if already hav one? why not upgrading the owned rb25??

Could have easily pick up a R-33 RB26 around 10-12k with looms and the lot though ...

Anyway, good luck with your loan and hope it works out well for you ...
