Default What to do?

Well, I've been talking about this to Russ and a few others for quite awhile and finally I've gotten my Do Luck kit (call it a fetish, my 350Z had one too). Anyways, IMHO, the rims now look too small cause the kit is bulky.

My options are:

1) Powdercoat / spray existing rims to lighter colour (suggestions?)

2) Buy new rims, which will set me back easily 15k for decent 19". Currently 18" which are practical which I like.

Here are some pics of the car. The fenders will only be done after CNY, the shop didn't want to hold the car over the holidays for fear of theft so I'm holding onto it temporarily after which the Do-Luck fenders will complete the look minus the wing.

EDIT: With the new kit in place, my old kit is up for sale previously in pieces but now I'd prefer someone to take the whole thing. Please bear in mind its 100% original sideskirts, rear bumper, front fenders and front bumper. The front bumper had a crack which I have repaired and the whole kit will be in primer for your convenience

I might just do that, but will probably powdercoat to a lighter colour, maybe matt silver or something. Wider tires is an option for sure cause current ones are due to be replaced.

Hi Pimpin

Always like the Doluck kit on the 34 & 32 GTR's. My suggestion on the wheel is spray it to bronze metallic like the CE28. If money is no object and u hv a buyer for your existing rims then go for 19".

I don't mind 19's but my 350z had a Do-Luck kit with 19s and I had to touch up the bumper/skirts monthly.

Kinda sick of the bronze look, its too common IMHO. I'll try a lighter color with my existing rims and go from there. Would rather keep the 18s for practicality purposes as I replace my tires every 3-4 months so 19s would be significant.

nice2.. but can u do something with those red horns.. not nice ler suddenly got red2 at the nose.. heheh..
replaced somewhere else or paint it black.

lighter colour of rims might give it a "bigger" looks.

i agree, you better get those horns painted to matte black, so it wont look so blatant like " look at my red horns - aint they cool?"

LOL I like those horns, they're man's way of compensating for not having boobs

Anyways, Driftmeister may have saved the day for me. I think I know what I'll do.

Update when I get it done soon :)

I always think lighter colours do more justice for the Bayside blue to match. White would be awesome but brake dust would be a problem though...
