Your fren GTI is great.. I've seen GTI tuned up to 160 WHP and some n/a Altezza with power FC tuned up to 170WHP.

Well.. to me, it's not the horses that count.. good handling, comfort and reasonable fuel economy will do.. it 's a daily ride anyway not track use.

10hp upgrade is pretty good. At least thats what RM1000++ can improve to the existing engine.... :)

Sorry, want to kei po here.

Seems that e-manage or safc gives good hp increase.

So, what's the difference if compare e-manage/safc and unichip?

Btw, Unichip's price is 2100!

safc got scren for u to tekan tekan and got rpm meter and others meter as well. its a colour tft screen. and thieves like it very much. easy to use. anyone can tune it. no need dyno machine also can tune it. has less tuning point.

emange need a laptop to tune it. emanage can tune ignition too. emanage has more tuning point so can get a finer tuning and can extract more power than safc. emanage got no screen. its a bos only. and got more functions than safc.

unichip is something like emanage. i guess it got more tuning point than emanage and a lot more functions inside.

i would say , many workshop play gimmicks in tuning ur car to generate more horse , simple thing, if u plug a wideband into ur exhaust, make some runs, if the AFR is smooth n good, errr a SAFC isnt gonna increase any power at all

usually they will tune ur AFR to be running leaner at high rpm becozs stock ecu will run rich at high rpm. running rich at high rpm is 1 of the step to prevent the engine from overheating. when the engine is running leaner than stock AFR at high rpm u can see there is increase in HP. but need to watch out that the peak torque might drop a bit due to running leaner than stock AFR.

at low rpm i guess they will also tune ur AFR to running leaner.

my 2 cents.
