Greetings,

FYI..i'm doing an engineering project..

I want to install Auto gearbox into another car which has a manual gearbox, and I want to retain manual control over gear selection (in other words...can shift the gears like a manual car or maintain manual shifting performance).

How can I achieve this? Is there any device in the market that I can use?

U need a 3rd party shift box or controller. Depending on the gearbox, some can be wired directly to the electronic solenoids to gain full manual controls (no auto shifting).
