Subaru Impreza GC,GDA,GDB,GGA compatibility

wanna ask you guys

is gc,gda,gdb,gga suspension set (springs and absorbers) can be swapped with each other? i mean if one using gc can he using gda,gdb,gga suspension set?

GC can used bugeye but behide needed to modd,but cant use cockeye invert type.

better use GC set if u r using gc series impreza...

if GD, use back GD set suspension...

modding it will not suggested...

from what i know and heard, ver 1-6 GC8/GF8 can use ver 7 GD/GG Bugeye WRX & STI front shocks and springs, but using the rear shocks and springs would mean the rear will be higher and camber positive, so some modifications needed for the rear.

Same with ver 8 GDAC/GGAC WRX only i think.

ver 8 WRX GDAD/GGAD onwards i'm not sure, but i think maybe also cannot.

But ver 8 STI (GDBC onwards) is different because their are inverted struts and knuckles are different and not compatible anymore unless extensive modifications are made.

as you can see, the Impreza goes thru a gradual evolution. but looking at the performance in the WRC, they now need a revolution, just like mitsubishi...

may be the revolution will come in the form of a hatchback!
